Make This Halloween Sampler!

As long as I have been a demonstrator, I have seen other demonstrators create beautiful and creative Samplers to decorate their homes with. So last year (2022) I invited my customers to come over to make a series of samplers throughout the year. When we were finished, the ladies wanted more, so I said I’ll be happy to design you a fun Halloween Sampler and this is the result! My customers were thrilled with their projects when they finished!

What’s so great about any sampler you make is you can dive into your stamp and paper stash and create something fun. Finding the best choice of background Designer Series Paper may take a little while, but it is so worth it when you find the perfect sheet for the background layer.

The one tip I recommend is to pay attention to is “scale.” The size of the images should be proportionally compatible so your eye can scan the entire sampler without being overly drawn to one specific square. Coming up with pleasing color combinations is also important. Luckily, Halloween is an easy color scheme – Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Gorgeous Grape, Crushed Curry, and Granny Apple Green.
