Hi there! I’m Eva Dietz, the heart behind the Kind Card Maker. I’m so glad you’ve found your way here, a little corner of the internet dedicated to spreading kindness through the art of handmade cards.

For me, cardmaking isn’t just a craft – it’s a way to connect, to share joy, and to brighten someone’s day. Whether it’s celebrating a birthday, saying thank you, or simply letting someone know you’re thinking of them, a card has the power to make a moment unforgettable.

How It All Began

I was invited to my first Stampin’ Up! card class way back in 2000. Laura, my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator hooked me right from the start. She showed how an embossing folder could turn a plain piece of cardstock into a beautiful 3D design when cranked through a die cutting machine. It was magical!

In 2010, Laura invited me to join the Stampin’ Up! family. I said yes on the spot to join and haven’t looked back! It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! Stampin’ Up!s people, products, and the fun I’ve had over the last 14 years has been amazing. What started as a hobby quickly became a passion, and I realized how much I loved helping others discover the joy of creating, too.

The Kind Card Maker was born from this love of creativity and connection. Here, I aim to inspire cardmakers of all skill levels to craft with confidence and heart.

A Little About Me

When I’m not cardmaking, you’ll find me quilting,  growing sunflowers, watching Hallmark movies, and nibbling on chocolate. Traveling with my husband to see the world or our adult children are extra special times for us.

But when I am cardmaking, my favorite crafting item is Designer Series Papers, because it has so much potential to enhance your creativity.

I’m a firm believer in the power of small acts of kindness. A handmade card might seem like a small gesture, but it can leave a lasting impression. That’s the magic of what we do together here.
