The Sweet Citrus Bundle from Stampin’ Up! gives you so many options in your Encouragement type cardmaking. It is such a versatile bundle because you can make any type of citrus you can think of. Today I’m focusing on lemons by using the colors of Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry. My accent color is Pretty Peacock.
This Bundle will help you make many birthday cards to friendship cards to thank you cards and more. It’s almost like a library of occasions from A-Z. This Bundle is a great value given the many projects you’ll be able to craft with it, such as summer party favors, beautiful summer scrapbook pages, or a grove of citrusy cards!
BELOW YOU’LL FIND SOME HELPFUL PHOTOS SHOWING THE CARDMAKING PROCESS:
These top two photos show many of the items you will need for making today’s card. Such as papers of your chosing, stamp sets, clear blocks for your stamps, ink pads, die cutting machine, paper ships, and the rest of your usual tool box.
Start with selecting the Daffodil Delight cardbase. Cut your cardstock and score the fold. Next you’ll add a layer of Designer Series Paper cut smaller to create the margin as shown.
Using the Countryside Corner Dies cut the necessary layers from your selected Designer Series Papers. Notice how you will not be cutting out the entire die’s worth of paper.
Use the Sweet Citrus Hybrid Embossing Folder to make the very realistic lemon slices you’ve ever seen! Fussy cut out your stamped images and then use small bits of washi tape to hold the slice in place inside the folder. Make sure you line up the citrus segments precisely.
I hope these three photos have helped you visualize the process of building this card easily.

This Close up illustrates how amazing the Hybrid Embossing Folder is! You can almost run your fingertip over those citrus segments and feel the texture the embossing folder provides. Makes those lemon slices almost edible!
ALL FINISHED! A LOVELY ENCOURAGEMENT CARD!
It’s always a great idea to have a matching envelope too.
