If you’re looking for an easy fun fold that lets adorable stamped images take center stage, this cheerful Wild Bunch Z Fold Card is a wonderful project to try!
The Stampin’ Up! June 2026 Product of the Month Wild Bunch stamp set makes creating playful birthday and all-occasion cards so much fun. For today’s project I paired these sweet animal images with colorful Designer Series Papers to create bright, happy cards that are sure to make someone smile.
One of my favorite things about this design is how versatile it is. By simply changing the stamped image and designer paper, you can create completely different looks while using exactly the same card layout. In the samples shown here, I created a variety of versions featuring a penguin, koala, bull, and even a cheerful snail!

Why You’ll Love This Wild Bunch Z Fold Card Idea
- Easy Z Fold design that’s beginner friendly
- Great way to showcase your favorite Designer Series Papers
- Perfect for birthdays or thinking of you cards
- Works with almost any stamped image
- Plenty of room inside for your personal message
Bonus Tip!
For any of the animals, I colored the image with Stampin’ Blends (See info below) before carefully fussy cutting it out. One of my favorite finishing touches is coloring the cut edges with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker. This simple trick hides the white paper edge and gives your fussy-cut images a much more polished appearance. Be sure to color the edge at a 90 degree angle and work from the back of the animal. (Coloring the edge from the front side is a recipe for disaster. My pen has slipped more than once when I thought I was being “smart”. Save yourself from having to do your animal over, by adding the black marker from the back side!)
