Card Assembly Instructions

1. Create the Card Bases

Start with the structure — this is where the magic begins.

  • Score the Pretty Peacock cardstock (4 ¼” x 11”) at 5 ½” and fold in half to form the main card base.
  • Score the Thick Basic White cardstock (4” x 9 ¼”) at 5 ¼” and 7 ¼”.
  • Fold the first score mountain style and the second score valley style to create the inner double easel.
  • Adhere these two base pieces together using the photo as reference.

👉 Real talk: Burnish those folds well. A crisp fold makes this card stand like a champ.

2. Add Designer Series Paper Layers

This is where the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP really shines.

  • Adhere the 3 ¾” x 5” DSP to the back panel of the Thick Basic White base.
  • Adhere the 1 ¾” x 3 ¾” DSP to the small front easel section.

3. Emboss & Layer the Snowy Panel

  • Emboss the 2 ¾” x 4” Thick Basic White panel using the Snowflake Sky 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Attach the embossed layer to the 4 ¼” x 3” Pretty Peacock panel.
  • Affix the lower portion of the combined front panel to the small section of card front using the photo for reference.

4. Stamp, Cut & Build the Snowflake Cluster

  • Stamp the leafy images twice from the Christmas Season stamp set on scraps of Basic White using:
    • Old Olive ink for the larger rounded branch
    • Shaded Spruce ink for the smaller pine needle branch
  • Using the Seasonal Label Dies, die cut the two Old Olive branches, then fussy cut the two pine needle branches.
  • Fussy cut the large and small snowflakes from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP using the photo for reference.

Layer everything on the embossed snowy panel:

  • Start with greenery laid flat
  • Add the large snowflake with Regular Dimensionals
  • Finish with the smaller snowflake using Mini Dimensionals

🎄 Design note: Overlapping shapes = cozy winter depth. Don’t overthink it.

Festive tip: Mix up snowflake directions — it adds movement without adding bulk.

5. Add the Sentiment & Inner Card Layer

  • Stamp the sentiment from Christmas to Remember onto the 5/8” x 4” Basic White strip using Pretty Peacock ink.
  • Angle the ends slightly using paper snips for a soft banner look.
  • Adhere the tag near the top of the back section using Dimensionals (use photo for reference).
  • Stamp the snowflakes on the Basic White inner card layer using Pretty Peacock ink. Add a sentiment from the Snowy Delights stamp set too. Then attach the Basic White layer to the inside of the Pretty Peacock base.

6. Embellish for Holiday Sparkle

Now the fun part ✨

  • Affix four Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the embossed panel as shown using the Take Your Pick Tool.
  • Affix one Real Red Traditional Sparkling Sequins to the center of the small snowflake using the Take Your Pick Tool.

💡 Kind Card Maker tip: Sparkle should feel sprinkled, not spilled.

7. Finish the Envelope

  • Adhere the 2 ¼” x 6” piece of the DSP to the envelope flap.
  • Trim flush.

*Because yes — the envelope matters.
