Which Type of Subscription Should I Purchase?

Paper Pumpkin Price increase chart for May 2024

Option One: Month-to-Month (Pay as you go)

This option is great if you just want to try one month before saying yes to another month. Do you see the fine print that says “Shipping included”, so the only additional cost will be your state sales tax.

When you click on the link below you will arrive at the official PaperPumpkin.com website that is separate from Stampin’ Up!s Online Store. You will need to establish your free online account. Enter your credit card number so it will be on file. Then you can select one kit. The link already has me designated as your demonstrator. The image below the link is what you will see at paperpumpkin.com.

Option Two: Pre-Paid Subscriptions (A Two Step Process)

This option is great if you have seen other crafters sharing their Paper Pumpkin kit projects with you or you’ve seen postings online. Or you know you are going to love it and want to get your delivery by mail every month.

Please Note: In my math examples below I am not taking into account your state sales tax since that is paid directly to your state government, but sales tax will be added to your order.

Now I am going to be completely honest with you about these Prepaids. The one and three month options are not the best bet for your hard earned dollar. Do you see the fine print that says “Shipping calculated at checkout”? Currently the Stampin’ Up! minimum amount for shipping is $7.95. Which means a one-month prepaid will cost $31.95 (ouch) and a three-month prepaid will cost you $78.95 (divide that by 3 = $26.32 per month.)

Your better value for your dollar are the 6 or 12 month prepaids. The 6-month prepaid is $130.50 x 11% shipping ($14.36) for a grand total of $144.86 divided by 6 months = $24.14 per month (better!).

Now there are some interesting comparisons when you get to the 12 month options. If you go month by month on the Paper Pumpkin website at $25 per month x 12 months = $300 (shipping is included.)

Or if you do the 12 month prepaid it is an interesting deal, because if you multiple the $24 monthly prepaid x 12 months = $288 x 11% shipping of ($31.68) that totals $319.68.

The 12-month prepaid is $252.00. $252 x 11% shipping ($27.72) for a grand total of $279.72 divided by 12 months = $23.31 per month (cheapest deal of the bunch!). So you are saving anywhere from $20.28 to $39.96 from the other 12 month options. But here’s the best bonus! You will earn Stampin’ Rewards of $25.20 (10% of $252) because your order is over the $150 minimum to earn rewards. Wahoo! In my mind that means you actually get a 1 or almost 2 months free and you get $25.20 in free products of your choice! To me this is the best deal of them all! A year of fun and bonus products too!
