No matter what time of year it is, a cardmaker can always use an easy project to whip up, like this Christmas Wishes card. Sometimes little inspiration is needed.
Did you know that on Page 22 of the 2024-25 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog that there are card layouts you can copy? If you are new to cardmaking, using layouts can be really helpful.
I encourage you to give those layouts a look and see how you can use them in your cardmaking. Sometimes a picture is all you need to get your creative juices flowing!
Multiple Layers Can Really Jazz Up Your Christmas Wishes Card
You can easily see that I didn’t follow the suggested layout above exactly, but close enough to see I was inspired by it. I wanted to have more contrast within the design, so I used the extra layers of Basic Black cardstock to really make the design POP! Basic Black can be a go-to choice when you are looking to add a touch of elegance.
One of the best things about card layouts is you can use them again and again with the variety of papers, colors, and ribbons you have in your crafting stash. It is amazing how cards can have a completely different look by just changing up one thing in their design.
